Celebrating 100 Years

Seventh-day Adventist education is a Christ-centered, holistic approach to learning that seeks to restore in humanity the image of God. Rooted in the teachings of Scripture and powerfully articulated in Ellen G. White’s Education, its central aim is not merely academic success, but the harmonious development of the physical, mental, and spiritual faculties.

It prepares students for faithful service in this life and eternal joy in the life to come. True education, as White explains, goes beyond intellectual training—it is “the preparation for the joy of service in this world and for the higher joy of wider service in the world to come” (Education, p. 13). Adventist schools are therefore designed to nurture character, cultivate faith, and inspire a lifelong relationship with Christ. In this way, education becomes redemptive—an active part of God’s plan to redeem and restore His children for eternity.

That is why Avondale SDA School is committed to a philosophy that emphasizes Christ, Character, and Curriculum—placing Jesus at the center of learning, building lives of integrity, and providing academic excellence with eternal purpose.

We are a CHARACTER COUNTS! School.
