Avondale SDA School is expanding its offerings! We are now enrolling Pre-K! Our Pre-K program is an all day academic curriculum that prepares children 4 years of age to seamlessly transition to elementary school in Kindergarten.

The daily Schedule is Monday – Friday 8 am – 3 pm. Aftercare is available until 5:00 pm on Monday -Thursday. On Fridays, dismissal is at 2:00 pm. No aftercare is provided on Fridays.

The Curriculum is standard based, founded upon Tennessee benchmarks for Pre-K. Learning includes Kindergarten prerequisite skills, which are, but not limited to, foundational academic and tactile skills, relaxing, fine-motor developmental STEAM activities of various arts and crafts, as well as gross-motor physical skills.

Our Instructional framework is based on the premise that all children can learn and learning has no ceiling. As such, we treat each child as an individual, allowing each one to develop at his/her own pace. Every child is taught prescriptively, which means, children learn what they are ready to learn.
